Care of Your Flute
Your Nightstar Flute is polished with pure beeswax. Should the surface dull with continual use, we recommend the light application of any propriety brand of beeswax polish. Apply sparingly as per manufacturer's instructions with a lint free cotton cloth.
Avoid extremes of temperature, particularly cold and damp.
If you have been playing your flute for extended periods, it is advisable to stand your flute with the mouthpiece downwards so that moisture can drain from the slow speed chamber.
 The Dragon Block
The dragon was gifted to Steve from Spirit when he asked for an animal that would embody Nightstar Flutes. Dragons are sacred in many cultures around the world but not in the Native American tradition!
Dragon energy is earth energy, potent and awe-inspiring. We hope it inspires you.
Moving the block backwards or forwards one or two millimeters will subtly alter the sound of your flute. Experiment to achieve the quality of sound that best suits you.
