Make Your Own Flute
One of the most wonderful feelings you can get in this world is to play the flute you have made yourself. With this in mind, I am now producing flute kits.

There are two types of kit available. The first is a tuned flute that requires shaping and finishing. This will allow you to decorate your flute to your requirements and have the final shape just as you want it.

The second kit is a blank with a voice. You will be able to cut the blank to length to achieve the key or tone you want, you will then need to make the playing holes and tune your flute. Instructions will of course come with the kit.

The cost:
1. Tuned flute for final shape and decoration - £40.00
2. Voiced blank for tuning and finishing - £30.00

Flute Making Workshops
I am now running flute making workshops. The format will be a one day course, at the end of which, you will have a tuned flute, which you have made. You will learn how to construct the sound mechanism, alter the quality of the sound, and how to tune the flute.

The workshops will start at 9am and should finish at 6pm.

Numbers are restricted to two people per workshop. This is due to space, and the fact I don’t want to ‘spread myself to thinly’. I want to be able to give time to everyone on the course.

The cost of the workshop is £90.00. This includes a light lunch and all the tea/coffee you can drink!
